Too many people leave the formal education system with an abundance of qualifications, but an alarmingly low financial IQ. In the UK, at 18 you are released from compulsary education and simaltaneously exposed to a minefield of credit offerings - some of which are potentially devastating.
Practical Financial Education
Everyone, whether they know it or not, admit it or not, will care about finance at some point in their lives. We could wait for the day when the government implements appropriate updates to the formal education system to increase financial literacy across the wider population, but due to bureaucracy and hidden conflicts of interest, we are not holding our breath for it… it's time to act.
